Our ministries are an important and integral part of our church community. Whether you are a student, single or married there is a ministry designed for you. Please read about our ministries and consider becoming an active member of our community of faith.

A Prayer Box is located just outside the sanctuary doors at New Scandinavia. Once a week the prayer requests will be collected and prayed for IN CONFIDENCE by our prayer team. This ministry will serve members of our congregation AND members of our community. For more information, see Barb Huset.

 

Our Church Women (W/ELCA) meet monthly at the church, usually on the 3rd Thursday of the month, for a business meeting, program, fellowship and refreshments. The women also make quilts for Lutheran World Relief, and serve lunch for funerals and other events.

MISSION CIRCLES: We have 3 mission circles, Bethany, Helping Hand and Willing Workers, that meet monthly for Bible study.

Bible Study Briefing

 

On a monthly basis, the women of the church, and Pastor, get together for Bible Study using GATHER magazine. GATHER is a publication of the ELCA.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Our Youth Ministry includes SUNDAY SCHOOL (September – May) for pre-school through high school.

AFFIRMATION OF BAPTISM CLASSES (September – May on Sunday).
